Monday morning

After a beautiful weekend, with a pleasant Sunday stroll, today is again fabulous. Yes, the cherry blossoms are bursting into full bloom, and it seems we've survived a winter with no real snow, despite hosting the Winter Olympics.

In addition to the work in Haiti being done right now, my sister is working at Sakeji School in Zambia for a couple of terms, and has an interesting blog about African life. Also, my friend Katharina has returned to the field, working in Afghanistan now. If you want to be on her email list, let me know through email.

Today Laura and I are checking out the wax models of our wedding bands, which we still don't have, despite being married for 7 months and 22 days. We're getting them custom designed by the same goldsmith that did her engagement ring, and quite excited. Any suggestions on what to engrave on the inside?
